Manvir Singh

With over 10 years of Chaplaincy experience, Manvir Singh provides spiritual care to individuals in custodial healthcare and various settings.

As Sikh minister and educator, dedicated to community outreach, his ethos focuses on empathy and respect whilst empowering individuals with hope and resilience. Passionate in guiding people towards finding inner peace and personal growth through pastoral care, meditation, prayer and spiritual discourse.

He holds a Master of Public Administration in Faith Leadership and a Level 7 Senior Leadership certification in Strategic Management & Leadership Practice.

Derrick Eubank

Derrick is dedicated to whole-person care, with extensive expertise spanning over 20 years, including 15+ years with the NHS. A Christian by background, he combines roles as a clinical exercise therapist and chaplain to deliver truly person-centred care.

His unique skill set fosters a safe, empathetic environment where healing thrives, blending practical recovery with spiritual care for a holistic approach to well-being.

Derrick’s work empowers individuals to integrate life experiences, beliefs, and core values, enhancing self-understanding, resilience, and decision-making. His unwavering commitment to health, fitness, mental well-being, and spiritual care reflects his passion for supporting recovery and wholeness.

Zabia Khatoon

Zabia is a dedicated Chaplain specialising in Muslim chaplaincy with extensive experience supporting the religious, spiritual, and pastoral needs of people from all faiths and none. She primarily works in the healthcare sector and has valuable experience in the public and education sectors. Her passion lies in Bereavement Support, End of Life care, and Acute Mental Health.

Zabia excels in outreach and engagement with underrepresented groups, ensuring equitable access to services. A graduate in Theology and Religion from the University of Birmingham and Muslim Chaplaincy studies at Markfield Institute, she promotes impartial and inclusive chaplaincy services in Acute Trusts.

Andrea Lewis

Andrea has extensive experience in mental and community healthcare, supporting individuals with mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety, as well as adults with complex care needs, including neurological conditions, stroke recovery, rehabilitation, and end-of-life care.

A calm and empathetic listener, Andrea takes a person-centred approach to supporting those with or without faith. She provides spiritual care through 1:1 sessions or small groups, facilitating mindfulness and creative expressions of spirituality. Andrea holds a PG Cert in Chaplaincy, is trained in Mental Health and Psychological First Aid, and is completing a course in Mindfulness Practice.

Mohammad Asad MBE

Imam Mohammad Asad MBE is a qualified scholar and multilingual expert who has memorised the Qur’an. With extensive experience in diverse faith environments, he provides compassionate spiritual and pastoral care, marked by exceptional listening skills and a friendly, non-judgmental demeanor. Honoured with an MBE for his contributions to charitable fundraising and the NHS during Covid-19, he serves as a Muslim Chaplain across multiple NHS Trust hospitals, all three blue light emergency services, and various universities.

Additionally, he actively participates in several interfaith initiatives, the UK Board of Healthcare Chaplaincy, and Police Chaplaincy UK.

Jackie Gayle

As a Mental Health First Aider, Jackie effectively supports individuals who are experiencing complex pressures and challenges which impact on their personal lives and workplace performance.

Jackie sensitively holds the space to listen to the concerns of those who are broken and experiencing illness, trauma and loss. Her person centred approach, discernment and wisdom brings enrichment and empowerment to positively enhance the wellbeing and wholeness of those within her care. Jackie has over a decade of Chaplaincy experience and holds a Masters of Theology in Chaplaincy Studies.

Rama Karri

Born a Hindu Brahmin in India, Rama effectively meets the needs of all individuals regardless of beliefs. With empathy and understanding, he listens to pastoral concerns and life changing situations. His warm and friendly manner provides assurance to enhance holistic wellbeing.

Rama has over 20 years chaplaincy experience within the UK university and healthcare contexts. As a Hindu priest and leader, he spends much time meeting the religious and practical needs of his community at Europe’s largest Shri Venkateshwara Balaji temple.

Faruk Ali

Faruk is a talented, ambitious and hardworking individual. He has worked within multifaith chaplaincy in various establishments; hospital, airport and university for over 30 years. He has extensive experience supporting all kinds of people with various wellbeing and pastoral needs.

As a reflective practice, practitioner Faruk brings much value on a 1:1 basis as well as to small teams. He is an excellent, reliable and dependable team worker.

Faruk is a qualified Muslim scholar and Imam. As a multilingual communicator, he speaks English, Urdu, Arabic, Hindi and Guajarati.

Esther Cohen

Counsellor
With over 20 years as a registered integrative counsellor and 40 years in pastoral counselling across diverse environments, Esther brings a wealth of insight and empathy in her non-judgemental approach to others, creating a safe and comforting space where individuals can explore life. She has extensive experience within the Jewish community and as an educator in multicultural settings. She is of Brazilian heritage and speaks Portuguese. Equipped with a Counselling B.Phil., Masters, and an Advanced Diploma in Life Coaching, registered with the BACP and NCPS, Esther has worked with a wide range of mental health challenges including relationships, anxiety, depression and trauma.

Sandy Zondervan

Sandy has over 5 years’ experience providing chaplaincy and spiritual care in healthcare. Demonstrating a high-level interpersonal communication with diverse individuals of faith or none, her listening skills and empathy easily builds rapport with everyone.

Her specialism is in loss and bereavement, including pets. Sandy understands individual pastoral and wellbeing needs whilst imbedding a creative dimension in her practice. She developed and piloted a successful community ‘Listening and Guidance’ scheme, supported by other chaplains, now expanded within primary healthcare practices in the UK.

Medi Richardson

Medi is an experienced mindfulness meditator with a significant background in healthcare chaplaincy and teaching. She has combined these skills to offer guided mindfulness meditation with a variety of people either in large groups or on a 1:1 basis.

Whether you are experienced or want to try out this therapeutic relaxation experience for the first time, Medi can tailor it for you. As a Chaplain, she offers a friendly supportive ear and a safe space to talk about whatever is troubling or weighing on your mind.

Rehanah Sadiq

Rehanah is a skilled and qualified psychotherapist and counsellor of 40 years.

She has national and international experience as member, advisor and consultant for several voluntary organisation boards and chaplaincy projects spanning 40 years. She is a leader, educator and advisor supporting Muslim and non-Muslim communities and service providers. Rehanah advocates integration, citizenship and community interfaith working.

With over 20 years of healthcare Chaplaincy experience, Rehanah sensitively promotes holistic wellbeing and self-care through pastoral and religious care.
